Set in the Garden of England, The Copper House Garden sits equidistant between the gardens of
Great Dixter and Sissinghurst Castle.
The house, a modernist pavilion built in 2015, is surrounded by a
contemporary English flower garden. Mixed shrub and herbaceous borders,
white with a touch of autumn pink on the northern and eastern sides and
intense jewel colours to the south and west. A small orchard and wildflower
meadow to the west of the house lead down a steep incline to a woodland area
with interlinking ponds. The garden is planted successionally to provide colour
through the seasons.
Private guided tours can be arranged via email. We recommend reserving at least an hour for a standard tour. Unfortunately, the garden is not wheelchair accessible. Please get in touch for more information.
This year we will be running a walk & talk succession planting course. Run monthly on Thursday evenings across 6 sessions, each will involve a 1.5hr guided walk. We'll be covering topics such as seasonal planting, plant combinations, staking and propagation. 6 places available.
2026 course dates: 23-Apr, 28-May, 25-Jun, 27-Aug & 24-Sep.
If you have questions or would like to visit, we'd love to hear from you.
